Information about some interference with the Internet radio reception
Currently, the Internet radio and podcast services may be disrupted on our music systems. Unfortunately, these disruptions are caused by a third party supplier and are therefore beyond our direct control. In addition to sonoro music systems, millions of other Internet radio in Europe are affected.
We are working closely with the service provider to implement a solution in the form of an alternative service and we have been receiving content from another Internet radio provider since May 7, 2019 / 21:30 hours. Given the huge amount of data to migrate as soon as possible, the server structure was not stable during the first few hours of the service’s implementation. The situation has been stabilized and we assume that these problems have now been largely resolved.
If your audio system no longer receives Internet radio, proceed as follows:
Disconnect your sonoro music system completely before turning it on again (for PRESTIGE and MEISTERSTÜCK use the switch button on the back of the unit, for all other units, remove the cable from the AC adapter). Then wait for few minutes to reconnect the music system.
If this is not the case, it is recommended to perform a factory settings reset or possibly reset your network router. Please refer to your user manual.
The old web portal www.wifiradio-frontier.com is no longer available and you cannot use it to create your own account and/or add your own stations. If you want a station to be added to the database, please use the following link to generate a ticket (choose New radio station or New podcast under “Template”): https://support.wifiradiofrontier.com/portal/newticket
Due to the change of supplier, favorites must be saved again. In addition, you may notice minor changes in the menu structure of your device.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these changes. We have implemented these changes in order to ensure the continuity of the service. Even if the scenario of a change of supplier has been intensively tested in advance, it can initially lead to reduced service stability.
